There’s just something about summer that is so captivating. The sun is shining down every day giving us an instant mood boost. The summer months have been filled with pool parties, trips to the beach, backyard barbeques, and late nights. But it’s time to face the facts: summer has taken a hold of us and some of those fitness goals have flown under the radar. Remember that BBQ at Aunt Karen’s house? Yeah, the one where you had a second serving of her famous potato salad. Oh, and let’s not even mention those late afternoon ice cream trips with the family. The kids are home and gym time just hasn’t been a priority. We’ve fooled around, stayed up late, and indulged. It’s all fun, don’t get us wrong! But with summer winding down and fall on the horizon it is the perfect time to consider ways to get back on track.
We’re here to help you do just that! Beginning Monday, August 19th we will kick off our YouGX “Back on Track” week with an open house event at all of our YouGX locations. This event is open to the public and promises to be worth your while if you like free workouts, giveaways, and goodies from our vendors. The fun doesn’t stop there, though. Remember those high school spirit weeks? Oh yeah! We’re bringing them back just for YOU. Throughout the week of August 19th-23rd, Youfit is hosting a spirit week for our members and guests to make getting “back on track” more enjoyable after a long summer break. Every themed day will feature a new “dress up” theme that is sure to bring the laughs with your favorite Youfit staff members, class instructors, , YouCoaches, and all visitors encouraged to workout in their wackiest attire.
