July is here and you know what that means? It’s National Grilling Month! Get ready to fire up your grill for some fire meal prep. Check out these Marinades you can use for chicken, steak, or for a vegetarian options – sweet potatoes and grilled veggies.

 

Traditional Barbeque Marinade

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup barbeque Sauce of choice
  • 1/4 cup Italian Dressing
  • 1/4 cup honey, agave or sweetener of choice
  • 2 tbsp balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Mix ingredients together and marinate the food you are grilling for at least 2-3 hours prior to grilling.

 

Balsamic Glaze

 

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp thyme

Mix ingredients together and marinate the food you are grilling for at least 2-3 hours prior to grilling.

 

Cilantro Lime Glaze

 

Ingredients 

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Mix ingredients together and marinate the food you are grilling for at least 2-3 hours prior to grilling.

 

The Best Marinade

 

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey, agave, or sweetener of choice
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Mix ingredients together and marinate the food you are grilling for at least 2-3 hours prior to grilling.
