Honor 9X confirmed to be launched in China on July 23


The successor of the Honor 8X is all set to be launched on July 23 in China. Huawei sub-brand Honor announced the launch date of the smartphone. The handset was leaked recently. It is rumoured to be powered with a Kirin 810 chipset. However, we don’t know the pricing details yet. The pricing and specifications will be revealed at the launch event in China on July 23. 

Honor posted on Weibo the launch date of the Honor 9X. The photo shared alongside reveals next to no information about the specifications, pricing, and availability. However, as the release date comes closer, the company is expected to share teasers, which should reveal much more information about the device.

Honor 9X Rumoured specifications

Honor is rumoured to be working on two smartphones, namely, Honor 9X and 9X Pro. Both smartphones are tipped to sport a Huawei Kirin 810 chipset. The main difference between the two phones could be the size of the display. While the 9X is expected to come with a 6.5-inch LCD panel, its elder sibling, the 9X Pro should feature a 6.7-inch LCD screen.

Coming to the optics, the 9X is speculated to sport aa tripe camera setup on the rear. The setup could consist of a 24MP primary sensor, an 8MP super wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Whereas, on the front, it is expected to come with a 20MP selfie camera. The  Honor 9X will allegedly be powered by a 3770mAh battery.

Honor 9X Pro Rumoured specifications

As mentioned, there might be a 9X Pro variant at the time of launch on July 23. The Honor 9X Pro is tipped to be powered by the same processor as that of the 9X. However, the 9X Pro is expected to feature a 48MP primary camera instead of the 24MP sensor on the 9X. Another difference includes the battery capacity. The Honor 9X Pro could come packed with a 4000mAh battery. The rest of the specifications of both phones could remain the same.
